“Test Chamber: Isolation” is an experimental installation that explores the self-awareness of visitors in a low-stimulation environment. Till Bödeker has created an isolation tank filled with warm salt water, in which individuals are isolated from all external stimuli in order to experience sensory deprivation. Only one person can enter the tank at a time, and it is recommended that they be naked. The test lasts for 60 minutes. After each session, subjects are asked to draw their experiences on the wall in squares (see Nails Projectroom).
